About the role

General maintenance and upkeep of our dog breeding facility, including minor repairs, painting, basic carpentry, fencing and gate repairs, pressure washing, grounds maintenance, gardening and keeping buildings, kennels and outdoor areas safe and well maintained.

Key responsibilities

- Regularly inspect the property and equipment, identify maintenance issues and complete repairs promptly

- Perform general maintenance including minor repairs, painting, basic carpentry, fencing and gate repairs

- Carry out pressure washing and grounds maintenance

- Keep buildings, kennels and outdoor areas safe and well maintained

- Assist with general cleaning and other practical duties around the facility when required

About you

- Previous maintenance, handyman, building or trade experience

- Confidence using power tools and maintenance equipment

- Good practical problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritise jobs

- Reliable and physically capable of hands-on work

- Robust attention to safety

- Current driver's licence

- Comfortable working around dogs and puppies

- Understanding of the importance of maintaining secure gates, fencing and animal areas
