Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to manage our financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, payroll and a passion for working in a veterinary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Payroll: Process payroll for clinic staff, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

- Accounts Payable: Manage and process supplier invoices and payment management.

- Banking: Reconciliation of bank statements on a regular basis

- Transaction Processing: Record and process all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Financial Reporting:



Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budget preparation.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in accounting and payroll software (e.g. Xero, Deputy).

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Possession of an accounting/bookkeeping certification is highly desirable

- Strong communication skills.
