About the Role
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you'll take ownership of a large customer ledger and play a key role in managing the end-to-end accounts receivable and collections function. This is suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, and ensuring outstanding cash collection outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 500+ customer accounts
- Perform end-to-end Accounts Receivable and collections activities
- Maintain customer ledgers and proactively follow up overdue accounts
- Liaise with customers via phone and email to resolve payment queries
- Work within Salesforce to manage customer accounts and communications
- Process customer credit card payments
- Complete daily banking for allocated accounts
- Follow up claims with warehouses and internal stakeholders
- Release customer orders once payments have been received
- Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, has excellent attention to detail, and can confidently manage competing priorities.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control position
- Experience working within the FMCG industry is an advantage
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA (highly regarded)
- Salesforce experience is preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment
