About the Role
This is a hands-on, varied role for a team-oriented storeperson with an eye for detail and well-developed time management skills to support our operations. Working across all facets of the business — residential, civil, commercial, and renewable works — you'll help keep our yards and project sites running smoothly while supporting multiple crews and divisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist and request stock ordering as needed

- Check in deliveries and unload trucks

- Identify, prepare, package, and load vehicles at the Hughes Construction yard

- Deliveries and pick-ups across Adelaide and to depot/project site

- Maintain sheds across all GE Hughes divisions in a clean, tidy, and efficient state

- General maintenance to sheds, properties, and the truck wash

- Assist mechanics and support maintenance of vehicles, trucks,



and earthmoving equipment

- Provide additional support to other divisions as needed, in line with own skills and abilities

What You Need (Essential)

- Current HR truck licence

- Current High Risk Forklift (LF) ticket

- Good time management across multiple projects and activities

- Safety-conscious with a willingness to implement safety controls and PPE requirements

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team

- Calm under pressure with good relationship-building skills

- Willingness to learn and accept direction
