About the role

Dakota Pastoral is a progressive family farming business near Macorna, Victoria, looking for 2 outstanding people to join a supportive team. This is an opportunity to be part of a supportive team, learn from experienced people, take on responsibility and build a rewarding career in agriculture. You'll be working across a diverse farming business that includes 900 milking dairy cows plus young stock, 450 beef cows with calves, and 3,000 ewes with lambs. No two days are the same, with opportunities to develop skills across livestock, machinery and general farm operations.

Key responsibilities

Tractor & Machinery Operator:

- Operating modern machinery

- Feeding livestock

- General farm and maintenance work

Livestock & Farm Team Member:

- Milking

- Caring for dairy cattle, beef cattle and sheep

- Calf rearing

- General livestock and farm duties

About you

- Reliable and punctual

- Positive attitude and robust work ethic

- Enjoy working as part of a team

- Take pride in doing a job well

- Want to learn, improve and grow

- Have a current driver's licence and their own reliable vehicle
