Refrigeration / Appliance Technician

The ICE Group has over 35 years’ experience repairing, installing and maintaining commercial refrigeration and kitchen appliances for clients across the pub, club, restaurant and aged care sectors.

We primarily service Southern Sydney, Macarthur and the Illawarra, extending through the Southern Highlands and down to the South Coast.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Refrigeration / Appliance Technician to join our team.

The Role

The role will involve servicing a variety of commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment, including:

- Fault diagnosis and repairs

- Preventative maintenance and servicing

- Warranty repairs and resolution

- New equipment installations and commissioning

- Arranging parts for repair and installation jobs

- Managing service jobs via our mobile phone app

- Completing service reports, including causes of breakdowns and repairs undertaken

- Working in accordance with company Work Health and Safety requirements

- Communicating with clients and our service coordinator to deliver excellent customer service

Qualifications & Experience





The successful applicant will have:

- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (such as UEE32225 or UEE32220) or equivalent

- National Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)

- Restricted Electrical Occupation Licence

- Current NSW Driver Licence

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- A strong customer service focus and pride in your workmanship

- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
