Who We Are

Reboot Australia is a social enterprise creating employment pathways for people who have experienced incarceration. We operate nationally, delivering pre-employment programs and Reboot Academy, our allied health telehealth service for justice-impacted individuals looking for work with a record.

We hold Social Traders certification and are building something genuinely new: a forensic-informed, lived-experience-led support model that the employment services sector doesn't yet have.

We are an entrepreneurial business. We do things differently, we care deeply, and we have a laugh, but above all we are here to impact reintegration. Whether through employment, reducing stigma in society or programs (one-on-one or group), it's always one person at a time. We can't wait to meet you.

The Role

We're looking for a qualified Allied Health Professional to lead the Reboot Academy as it moves into delivery. You'll deliver six structured modules, both one-on-one via video conferencing and group face-to-face sessions to pre-release and post-release participants, co-facilitated alongside Reboot's lived experience mentors, people who have navigated the justice system themselves and are now in stable employment.

The program is designed and manualised. It has a written clinical manual, a defined theoretical architecture, a measurement strategy and a co-facilitation scope. What it doesn't yet have is a first cohort. Your first job is to take it there: close out the remaining pre-delivery items, run the pilot, and deliver a fantastic and impactful service while the model proves itself.

This is a 0.6 FTE role with the genuine intention to grow to full-time within 6-8 months as our program scales.

This role is clinical authority over a program and a caseload for now, with the intent to change as we grow.

What You'll Do

- Deliver the six-module Academy program via telehealth and in-person group sessions, co-facilitated with lived experience mentors.

- Communicate with stakeholders to grow the service

- Provide feedback and co-create the Reboot Academy platform to ensure time is spent on the most key thing, helping individuals.

- Conduct structured clinical risk enquiry at intake and discharge, with safety planning and escalation where indicated

- Provide delivery-related supervision to peer co-facilitators within a defined scope

- Close out the remaining pre-delivery items and take the program through pilot

What We're Looking For

Essential:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, OR a degree or graduate diploma in social work, rehabilitation counselling, counselling or a related allied health field with relevant professional membership (ACA, PACFA, AASW or equivalent)

- 2 to 5 years post-qualification experience

- Experience with justice-impacted, trauma-affected or similarly complex cohorts

- Demonstrated capability in risk assessment, safety planning and escalation, and genuine comfort holding sole clinical responsibility for those decisions

- Comfortable delivering via telehealth and video conferencing

- Sound,

defensible clinical documentation practice

- Genuine alignment with Reboot's mission

Highly regarded:

- A forensic background: forensic social work, forensic or correctional psychology, or criminology-informed practice. This is the single most valuable thing you can bring to this role

- Working familiarity with forensic rehabilitation frameworks (Good Lives Model, Risk-Need-Responsivity, Rosenberg's Self-esteem Scale) and an honest view of their limits

- Experience in vocational rehabilitation or reintegration programs

- Prior co-delivery with peer workers or lived experience practitioners

- Experience with program delivery and Telehealth

- Lived experience of the justice system

What We Offer

- $100,000 to $110,000 FTE salary, pro-rata to 0.6 FTE, plus superannuation

- Genuine pathway to full time as the program grows

- External clinical supervision funded by Reboot, independent of line management

- Work-from-home flexibility with Richmond as your base

- A market-leading telehealth platform with AI note-taking integration for timely and concise clinical notes. All designed to spend as much time as possible working with participants

- Clinical autonomy within a structured, documented program model

- Real influence over an allied health service that is going to make a big impact in the justice-impacted cohort

Please include a cover letter (one page max) to tell us what draws you to this cohort and what you'd bring to taking this service into delivery.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Reboot Australia encourages applications from people with lived experience of the justice system.
