About the Prospect

We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Plumber to join a dedicated team delivering maintenance, essential municipal services and community programs to remote Aboriginal communities in Central Australia.

In this hands-on, highly rewarding role, you will:

- Carry out plumbing and drainage works across municipal assets

- Coordinate and manage minor works and allocate resources

- Provide accurate technical plumbing advice to internal and external stakeholders

- Conduct water and septic testing, inspections and reporting

- Ensure all work meets regulations, codes and organisational procedures

- Record work tasks, plant defects and compliance documentation

- Supervise and train depot staff on-the-job

- Contribute as part of a multi-skilled, close-knit workforce

Salary

- Base Salary: $112,000 + Superannuation

About You

Essential Requirements

- NT Plumbing & Drainers Licence (or eligible to obtain NT registration)

- Minimum 5+ years plumbing experience

- Experience managing minor works/projects

- current C Class driver’s licence

- Construction White Card

- NT Ochre Card (or ability to obtain)

- Excellent health and fitness

- Ability to work and travel in remote regions

- Strong understanding of the challenges and rewards of remote work

Highly Regarded

- Earthmoving/plant experience (excavation)

- Remote or regional work experience

- Bobcat Operator ticket

Mandatory Clearances

- National Police Check (within 3 months)

- Ochre Card

- Industry-recognised vaccinations for sewage handling
