The Opportunity
The Child Care Services Professional contributes to the management of the childcare centre through supervision and coordination resulting in high quality care for children.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent qualification recognised by licensing authorities, with current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, cultural groups and other clients in both formal and informal settings.
- Demonstrated experience developing care and educational programs, coordinating day-to-day children’s services, supervising and motivating staff, delegating effectively and supporting purposeful change in consultation with the Coordinator.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
