The Opportunity:

Ascension Cosmetic Medicine is seeking an exceptional Dermatologist to provide specialist consultations and ongoing medical management for patients presenting with common and often complex skin and hair concerns.

This is a consultation-only position. Procedural dermatology, surgery and laser treatments are not required to be performed by you. The role is designed for a Dermatologist who values thoughtful clinical practice, continuity of care and the opportunity to build trusted, long-term patient relationships without the operational burden of establishing and managing their own rooms.

Scope of Practice:

The Dermatologist will provide specialist diagnosis, prescribing and evidence-based medical treatment plans, with a particular focus on:

· Acne and acne-related concerns

· Rosacea and facial redness

· Melasma and pigmentation concerns

· Hair loss and scalp concerns

You will oversee patients requiring dermatologist-led management and collaborate with Ascension's broader clinical team where coordinated care is appropriate.

You are a patient-centred Dermatologist with sound clinical judgement, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping patients manage ongoing skin and hair concerns. You may be an established specialist seeking a premium consulting location, an early-career Dermatologist building a private practice, or an interstate specialist interested in regular Brisbane sessions.

Essential Requirements:

· Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD), or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification

· Current AHPRA specialist registration and unrestricted Australian practising rights

· Strong clinical judgement underpinned by evidence-based practice and high ethical standards

· Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism and commitment to a premium patient experience

· Current qualified indemnity insurance
