About the role
The Project Manager is the driving force in transforming design concepts into beautifully crafted joinery, delivered seamlessly from Drafting to Reality. This role ensures every project reflects the company's commitment to precision, quality and service excellence. By blending technical expertise with leadership and client-focused communication, the Project Manager helps position Boutique as an industry leader in delivering high-end, functional and timeless joinery solutions.
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of joinery projects from design handover through to installation and client handover. This role ensures all projects are delivered on time, within budget, to specification, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong communication with clients, designers, trades and Boutique staff.
Key responsibilities
- Develop project plans, define scope, set objectives and establish timelines
- Provide clear roadmaps to prevent scope creep and delays
- Allocate resources across people, materials, equipment, and finances
- Coordinate with designers, trades, contractors, and suppliers
- Identify risks and implement strategies to minimise impact
- Resolve challenges such as design changes, supply chain delays, or site issues
- Serve as the key contact for clients, architects, builders and internal teams
- Monitor project progress and enforce quality standards
- Conduct inspections, oversee safety compliance, and ensure timely delivery
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and deliverables
About you
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the joinery, cabinetry or construction industry
- Robust understanding of joinery manufacturing processes and materials
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Excellent planning, scheduling and organisational skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Competency with PM software, ERP systems (Innergy experience advantageous)
- Knowledge of WHS requirements for workshop and site environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and influence with a positive can-do attitude
