STEAK CUTTING TEAM LEADER - THIS IS A MACHINE OPERATION ROLE 1pm-10pm

Fresh Meats is a quick-growing, family-owned food business employing 140 people. We process over 60 tonnes of meat weekly, alongside seafood and value-added cooked products, supplying customers across hospitality, healthcare, education, retail and other institutions throughout Queensland. We operate to high standards of food safety and do not tolerate any drug use. Our team culture is one of respect, openness, cooperation and teamwork. We want to grow our staff's skills and retain them for the long term.

We seek a full time qualified Butcher or Chef to -

- lead a small team in portioning steaks in a Trief Slicing Machine and Marel I-Cut Steak portioning machine

- ensure product quality/ consistency and team productivity

- manage yield proactively

Skills and Attributes:

- strong communication, effective leadership and task management skills





- knowledge and emphasis on food safety, sanitation and workplace healthy and safety

- attention to detail and maintenance of expected standards

- zero drug use

- commitment to teamwork, reliability and positive mindset
