The Chance
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a high-performing project delivery team working on a major hyperscale data centre development in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle region.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager/Project Director, you will work closely with the Development team and take ownership of construction delivery across new-build and fit-out works. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys driving projects from design through to commissioning and handover.

Note: Relocation support/allowance is available for suitable candidates relocating to the Hunter Valley/Newcastle area.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the General Contractor (GC) and High Voltage (HV) Contractor.
Coordinate the delivery and integration of Owner Supplied Equipment (OSE).
Manage consultants and multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
Work with the Design Manager to identify and resolve design issues.
Review trade letting and coordinate procurement activities with the GC and Quantity Surveyor (QS).
Manage project scope, quality, program, and budget.
Coordinate cost management, claims,



and variations with the QS and Development team.
Manage the overall project program across the GC, OSE, consultants, and key contractors.
Coordinate commissioning, project close-out, and final handover.
Collaborate with the client team to develop scopes and designs for successful project execution.
Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the project on track.

About You
7–9 years’ experience in construction management and/or project delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
Experience delivering large-scale, fast-track projects within a contractor, consultancy, or developer environment.
Experience across the APAC construction market.
Hyperscale data centre experience highly desirable.
Strong understanding of construction delivery, commercial management, commissioning, and handover.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing claims, variations, contractors, and consultants.
Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine “get things done” attitude.
Comfortable working with structured autonomy and taking ownership of outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
