frankie. Bar & Eatery is Geelong's premier cocktail bar, function venue & “Pan-Asian-Fusion” restaurant, regularly booked out 7 days a week, from casual drinks & dining to big functions & events.

We are passionate about our food, our cocktails & our staff, and ensure each guest that walks through our door has the most amazing and memorable frankie. experience at our stunning venue.

About the role:

Ideally, we seek a passionate, professional & highly experienced cocktail bartender (3+ years would be amazing!) who knows their way around a seriously busy bar. You'll be experienced with and super comfortable seeing a rail full of beverage dockets and getting straight to work.

(And let's get this out of the way now... let's call it the 'hospitality fine print'; you really, really, really must genuinely have evening and FULL WEEKEND AVAILABILITY and a current RSA. We need you to truly commit, be ultra reliable and not request three Saturday nights off a month. (lol)

Having said that... here's the best part about frankie. - you would usually clock off by 11pm latest - how good is that!!

About you:

You'll know how to prioritise multiple orders, build several cocktails & drinks at once, work quickly and efficiently, communicate with the rest of the bar team and keep your section organised - without sacrificing presentation, consistency or quality.

Our bar gets BUSY. Really busy.

On a pumping Friday & Saturday night (or any night, really),



whether you're working in the restaurant bar or our private functions & events bar, you'll be making cocktail after cocktail while the orders continue to roll in.

Our dream candidate has worked behind the bar in a busy cocktail bar, restaurant, nightclub or high-volume hospitality venue. You'll have exceptional cocktail knowledge and understand spirits, classic cocktails, shaking, stirring, building, batching, garnishing and presentation.

You'll be able to maintain speed, accuracy, consistency and presentation when there's a full docket rail, multiple drinks on the go and a packed venue in front of you.

If you've worked in that environment before and absolutely thrive on it - we definitely want to hear from YOU!

If you've still got genuine solid bartending experience, you're confident behind a bar, can handle a busy service and have a genuine interest in and decent knowledge of cocktails, we'd still love to hear from you. We can teach you our cocktails, our systems and the frankie. way. So if you've got the foundations & decent experience, you're quick on your feet,



you're great with people and you're hungry to become an even better bartender - throw your hat in the ring.

Even when the bar is pumping, you'll be engaging with guests, taking orders and payments, making recommendations, upselling, having a laugh and helping create the fun, energetic atmosphere that makes frankie. who we are.

Permanent Part Time employment from 8 hours up to 38 hours per week is available for the right candidate.
