Description:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Officer to join our team in Lidcombe, Sydney on a casual basis, working a baseline of approximately 20 hours per week but flex up to full time when necessary to cover planned leave periods. This is a busy operations role, so time management skills, positive communication and organisational skills are key in the role.

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, your responsibilities will be:
Order fulfilment: Assist with picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch or collection by technicians
Receiving: Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments. Verify delivered quantities against packing lists and report any discrepancies.
Inventory Control: Perform routine stock counts and identify any discrepancies.
Waste Management: As required, assist with decanting waste from wheelie bins returned by service technicians into large waste bins for collection.
Recycling: Assist with the cleaning and recycling of stock returned from the field.
Leave Cover:



Flex up working hours during designated periods and extended planned leave of other team members

The preferred candidate will possess the following attributes:
LF Forklift License is advantageous
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Experience in warehouse or inventory will be an advantage
Physically fit, as some manual handling is required
Ability to work in a team, with a 'can-do' attitude
Computer knowledge
Prioritise in tight timeframes and be a outstanding organiser.
