Our client is a well-established facilities services provider renowned for maintaining secure, sustainable, and functional environments across various sectors. They are currently seeking a Maintenance Officer to join their team at a prestigious school located in the Hawthorn area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled tradesperson or experienced maintenance professional to join a supportive team and take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities
General building and grounds maintenance, including minor repairs and upkeep
Assisting with tasks such as painting, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and basic carpentry
Responding to maintenance requests and ensuring a high standard of work
Supporting site improvement projects and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely
Helping with moving furniture, equipment, and general upkeep around the school grounds

About You




Proven experience in general maintenance OR qualified tradesperson looking to expand into maintenance
Able to handle a variety of trades tasks, including painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Driver’s licence required
Ability to pass a Police Check and Working With Children Check

What’s On Offer
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 + Super
Full-time hours – Day shift, Monday to Friday
