In Australia, we support customers across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, collaborating closely with our dealer network and OEM partners — and have recently included the management of service and support for selected Daimler Truck Off-Highway engines.

We are now seeking a motivated Spare Parts Interpreter to join our Melbourne-based team. You will play a key role in identifying, sourcing, and supplying spare parts to our customer network, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
Prompt answering of phones and emails
Interpret parts for internal requirements and customer network via email and phone.
Accurately solve customer enquiries and requirements ensuring all KPI’s are met.
Conduct order processing, procurement, receipting and invoicing tasks
Work in a team workplace to ensure all customer needs are met.




Effectively use in house electronic software to correctly identify spare parts requirements.
Train internal and external users (dealers) on correct usage of spare parts and other associated electronic software and tools.
Grow and promote after sales and service business for DEUTZ Australia.
Ensure you are up to date on DEUTZ/Daimler spare parts related information and news.
Assist in warehouse and other tasks as required.
Coordinate with global DEUTZ colleagues as required.
Conduct reporting on the DEUTZ service and aftersales business.

About You
Minimum 2 years automotive spare parts experience or relevant mechanical qualification
Solid communication and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).
Valid Australia full driver’s licence.
Highly organised, meticulous, and able to work both independently and in a team.
Willingness to continuously learn and stay up to date with product knowledge.
SAP ERP experience preferred but not essential
