About the role

Sea Level Media is looking for a talented videographer and video editor to join the team on an ongoing contractor basis. You will eventually take ownership of jobs from shoot through to final edit, while learning and maintaining the Sea Level Media style. The role specialises in high-end real estate content across Perth, producing property films, photography, drone content, agent branding and social media content.

Key responsibilities
Shooting real estate/property videos across Perth
Editing property videos from start to finish
Editing agent branding, social media and occasional corporate content
Colour grading Log footage
Music selection and sound design
Speed ramps, masking, transitions and other creative editing techniques
Completing revisions when required
Working closely with the team to learn shooting and editing style
Providing reliable weekly availability with minimum of 3 property video jobs per week
Availability for twilight shoots, generally scheduled around sunset

About you




Experience shooting professional video
Robust video editing skills
Valuable creative eye for pacing, composition, music and storytelling
Comfortable shooting with a gimbal
Understanding of exposure, shutter speed, frame rates and Log footage
Experience colour grading
Confident working with 4K footage
Experience with DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro X, or willing to learn/use Resolve, FCPX
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
Solid attention to detail
Reliable and able to meet deadlines
Takes feedback well and can apply it consistently
Own camera equipment (Drone, audio, gimbal etc)
Own reliable transport
Based in Perth and able to travel to shoots
