We are a small accounting firm located in the heart of Burleigh Heads and we have an exciting prospect for an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join our busy and growing office. This will be a full-time role, working 5 days in office per week from 8.30am to 5pm.

About The Role
Experience in an Australian Public Practice Accounting firm.
Experience in producing financial statements and tax returns for individuals and various business structures i.e. Companies, Trusts, Partnerships desirable.
Experience in producing financial statements and tax returns for Self Managed Super Funds desirable but not essential.
Experience in preparing Business Activity Statements, Bookkeeping and IAS desirable.
Liaise with ATO, ASIC and other regulatory bodies when required.
Engage regularly with clients and maintain solid relationships.
Examine financial records to check for accuracy.

Skills Required
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience using Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks accounting softwares,



ASIC & ATO Portal desirable but not essential.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Great time management and organisational skills.
You will be client focused and enjoy communicating with clients.
Professional approach and presentation.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Be able to work as a team.
