Pastry Junior Sous Chef | Centennial Homestead

The Venue

The iconic Centennial Homestead is set in the heart of Sydney’s Centennial Park, boasting unsurpassed views over rolling green lawns. We’re seeking a passionate and motivated pastry chef who is ready to take the next step in their career and work alongside an experienced team in a quick-paced, quality driven kitchen.

The Role
Run the daily operation of the pastry section
Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts and cakes.
Maintain excellent standards of presentation, consistency and quality
Help lead and support the kitchen team during service and production
Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
Contribute ideas and creativity to our pastry offering

We’re looking for someone who:
Has solid pastry experience in a professional kitchen
Is passionate about pastry and committed to producing exceptional food




Has strong attention to detail and presentation
Can confidently work in a busy, high-volume environment
Has leadership skills and enjoys supporting and developing junior team members
Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work
Is eager to grow and progress within the pastry industry
