Forrestania Resources (ASX: FRS) is expanding rapidly as we progress construction at Lake Johnston and prepare for the restart of Edna May. With both sites moving from project phase into operational readiness, we’re building a small, high‑performing team of people who thrive in start‑up environments, adapt quickly, and take pride in getting assets running safely and efficiently.
We are now seeking Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters with strong experience in start‑ups, restarts, commissioning, and hands‑on problem solving.
About the Roles
FIFO or DIDO on an 8&6 roster
Work across Lake Johnston (under construction) and Edna May (restart from C&M;)
Involved in commissioning, maintenance, fault‑finding, and reliability improvements
Small crews, lean resources, and a quick‑moving environment
Prospect to influence systems, standards, and plant performance from day one
Small Gold junior with ambitions to scale quickly over the next 12 months
What You’ll Bring
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
Experience with fixed plant in gold processing
Strong background in start‑up, commissioning, or restart settings
Ability to work autonomously and step into a hands‑on, problem‑solving role
Comfortable working with changing priorities and evolving site conditions
National Police Check (within 12 months) or willingness to obtain
High commitment to safety, teamwork, and building a positive site culture
WAH & CS within 2 years
