About the role

As a Holiday Casual Retail Assistant, you may be rostered across retail stores and pop-up locations throughout Sydney depending on business requirements. You will need to be flexible and willing to work at different locations when required, including providing additional coverage at stores experiencing higher customer traffic.

Key responsibilities
Providing friendly, confident and knowledgeable customer service
Approaching and engaging customers
Helping customers discover fragrances suited to their preferences
Demonstrating and recommending fragrances
Learning the large and constantly expanding fragrance range
Processing sales and operating POS systems
Maintaining testers, displays and general store presentation
Restocking and assisting with general store duties
Working efficiently during extremely busy trading periods
Managing multiple customers at once while maintaining a high standard of service

About you




Previous fragrance, perfume or fragrance retail experience
Quick learner with the ability to retain a large amount of product knowledge
Confident approaching and speaking with customers
Robust sales and customer service skills
Able to work effectively in a very fast-paced, high-volume environment
Comfortable serving multiple customers during busy periods
Remain calm, organised and skilled under pressure
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
Willing and able to travel between Sydney stores and pop-up locations when required
Excellent reliability and punctuality
