Silverstone is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to cater to our Iron Ore clients' requirements in the thriving WA mining and resources sector. This prospect will commence on contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position.

Duties include:
Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on fixed plant equipment, with a focus on crushing and screening machinery.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Conduct preventative maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and component replacement.
Remove and replace worn or faulty parts and manage spare parts stock levels.
Complete mechanical inspections and provide accurate reports to ensure plant reliability.




Overhaul and rebuild crushers and related materials handling equipment as required.
Work closely with supervisors, planners, and other teams to schedule repairs and allocate resources effectively.
Provide hands-on support to meet operational deadlines and maintenance targets

Requirements
Mechanical Trade Certificate
Current Driver’s License
Current National Police Clearance
Full Australian working rights
