An exciting opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join a food manufacturing site.

Approx. $125,000 per annum + super based on 38 hours per week
Monday to Friday roster - no weekends

The Role
You'll be responsible for keeping production running smoothly by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site. This is a hands-on role where your mechanical expertise will directly impact plant performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults efficiently




Support installation and commissioning of recent machinery
Work closely with production to minimise downtime
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality

About You
Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Fitter & Turner or similar)
Experience in FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing highly regarded
Robust fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience with conveyors, pumps, and automated equipment
Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
