About the role

Perth Containers is seeking a reliable and hands-on Container Fit-Out operator to join our modification workshop in Bibra Lake, WA. This role is primarily focused on the internal fit-out and modification of shipping containers, including insulation, internal wall and ceiling linings, framing, doors, windows and general carpentry work.

Key responsibilities
Carrying out internal fit-outs of modified shipping containers
Installing insulation to walls and ceilings
Installing internal wall and ceiling linings, including plywood and other sheet materials
Timber and steel framing for internal fit-outs
Measuring, cutting, fitting and finishing materials accurately
Installing flooring, doors, windows, benches, shelving and other fit-out components
Carrying out general carpentry and construction-related work
Assisting with container modifications and repairs
Working alongside other tradespeople to complete custom container projects
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

About you
Valuable attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and willing to get involved in a variety of projects




Positive physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
Current driver's licence
Carpentry, construction, cabinet making, fit-out or similar hands-on background
Confident using power tools, working from measurements and producing a high standard of finished work
A formal trade qualification is advantageous but not essential for the right person with relevant hands-on experience
