JUNIOR SOUS CHEF — MAEVE WINE

Maeve Wine is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in South Brisbane.

This role would suit a strong Chef de Partie who’s ready to take the next step, or an existing Junior Sous looking for a kitchen where they can keep developing.

We’re a small, busy restaurant with a produce-driven menu that changes regularly. You’ll be working closely with the Head Chef across service, prep, ordering and the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

We’re looking for someone who:
Has solid restaurant experience and strong fundamentals
Is organised, reliable and comfortable in a busy service
Takes pride in their food and keeps standards high
Can help lead and support junior chefs
Wants to learn more about ordering, food costs, menu development and kitchen management
Is interested in good produce,



wine and thoughtful restaurant food

This is a hands-on cooking role with increasing responsibility — a positive opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a Sous Chef and eventually run a kitchen.
