About the role

Airlie Beach Jet Ski Tours is looking for a full time Jet Ski Guide / Deckhand / Skipper to join our crew. We're the operator — we own our skis, run our own tours, and every guide is personally trained by the owners. You'll be leading guided jet ski tours through some of the best water in the country, with turtles and dolphins a regular sight and whales through the winter months. Key responsibilities
Leading and guiding jet ski tours, with responsibility for guest safety at all times
Delivering safety briefings and on-water instruction to guests of all experience levels
Deckhand duties as rostered
Daily pre- and post-trip checks, refuelling, washdowns and general upkeep of the fleet
Assisting guests on and off the water and keeping the base tidy and operational
Working to our safety management system and AMSA requirements
Vessel detailing
Assisting with sales and marketing duties

About you




Minimum Coxswain Grade 3, and/or an Australian-recognised recreational boat licence and PWC licence
Current Australian first aid certificate
Drivers licence
Excellent presentation — you're the face of the business
Previous experience as a deckhand and/or skipper
Confident, clear communicator with strong guest-facing skills
Available to start ASAP, and to work weekends, public holidays and school holidays as rostered
