About the role

You will be responsible for managing the showroom and sales operation while identifying opportunities to grow the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys sales, customer relationships, business development and managing a busy showroom.

Key responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day operation of the Malaga Tile Centre showroom
Leading and supporting the sales team
Providing excellent service to retail, builder and trade customers
Following up enquiries, quotations and potential sales opportunities
Building relationships with builders, developers, tilers, flooring contractors, designers and other trade customers
Reconnecting with existing, dormant and previous customers
Developing recent business opportunities throughout Perth
Managing the sales pipeline from enquiry through to order
Assisting customers with tile, flooring and bathroom product selections
Negotiating and closing sales

About you




Previous experience in retail management, showroom management, sales management or business development
Robust sales and negotiation skills
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
Confidence dealing with builders, tradespeople, designers and homeowners
Robust organisational and follow-up skills
Good computer skills and confidence working with CRM, ERP or sales management systems
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general office software
The ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities
A proactive approach to generating new business
Strong communication skills
