AAT Building is looking for an organised and detail-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our growing team.

Working within the insurance building industry, you'll play an significant role in ensuring subcontractor invoices are processed accurately and efficiently while working closely with our Supervisors, subcontractors and wider operations team.

About the Role

Using PrimeEco as our job management system, you'll manage the day-to-day processing of subcontractor and supplier invoices.

Your responsibilities will include:
Receiving, checking and lodging subcontractor and supplier invoices
Reviewing invoices against work orders, approved costs and job information
Following up Supervisors to ensure completed works and invoices are signed off promptly
Working closely with our subcontractor network to resolve invoice queries
Checking costs and identifying discrepancies before invoices are processed




Ensuring invoices are allocated to the correct jobs and cost categories
Following up missing information, documentation or approvals
Maintaining accurate records within PrimeEco
Assisting with general accounts payable administration

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, accurate and comfortable working in a rapid-paced setting.

You'll ideally bring:
Previous accounts payable or finance administration experience
Experience with PrimeEco would be highly regarded,
Solid attention to detail and confidence checking figures
Good communication skills and the confidence to follow people up when required
Ability to manage a high volume of invoices
Confidence working with computer-based accounting or job management systems
A practical, problem-solving approach
