Urgent Job Alert – Brisbane City Region: Support Worker Needed

Urgent support worker required for a friendly gentleman in the Brisbane region, with shifts commencing tomorrow.

This is a great ongoing opportunity for a warm, reliable support worker who enjoys providing companionship and helping someone settle into a recent community.

Support will include:
Companionship and social support, community access, helping the participant become familiar with his recent local area, shopping and errands, assistance getting established and settled into his new home, and general day-to-day support to build confidence and independence.

Shift details:
Commencing tomorrow, ongoing prospect, 10:00am–3:00pm and 4:00pm–9:00pm (two 5-hour shifts per day). Male or female support workers welcome. Reliable ongoing availability preferred. Fluent English required.

patient and engaging who can help the participant feel comfortable and confident as he settles into his new surroundings.

Reliable Car with Comprehensive Car Insurance (preferred but not essential for all shifts)
Cert III in Individual Support or similar qualification
Blue Card
