About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team. The successful applicant will assist the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, washing dishes and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation
Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans
Keep kitchen, preparation areas and equipment clean and sanitised
Assist with receiving, storing and organising food supplies
Maintain cleanliness of floors, benches, fridges and storage areas
Dispose of rubbish and maintain appropriate waste procedures
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
Assist with basic kitchen duties as required
Work efficiently during busy periods
Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations





About You

The ideal candidate will:
Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Be able to work well as part of a team
Have good communication skills
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Have good attention to cleanliness and hygiene
Be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
