Pickering Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Car Assembler / Automotive Technician to join our growing automotive team.

The successful applicant will have practical experience working with late-model vehicles and be confident carrying out vehicle assembly and disassembly work to a high standard.

This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced automotive skilled who takes pride in accurate workmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble and disassemble late-model vehicles
Remove and refit vehicle components correctly
Prepare vehicles for further mechanical, electrical or pre-delivery work
Follow established workshop procedures and manufacturer requirements
Inspect completed work to ensure components are correctly fitted
Identify and report any issues discovered during assembly
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Work cooperatively with technicians and other automotive staff

About You
Previous professional automotive experience is essential




Demonstrated experience with vehicle assembly and disassembly
Good understanding of late-model vehicle construction and components
Strong practical and mechanical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently and within a team
Takes pride in producing quality work
Current Australian driver's licence preferred
