We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of authentic Italian dishes, pizzas, and grill items according to our established high standards.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, portion, and cook menu items quickly and efficiently during busy service periods.
Maintain strict cleanliness, hygiene, and full compliance with Australian food safety standards.
Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory rotation, and minimize food wastage.
Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
Assist in guiding and training junior kitchen hands or apprentices when required.

What We Are Looking For:




Proven experience working as a Cook or Chef in a quick-paced commercial kitchen (experience with Italian cuisine or commercial pizza ovens is highly regarded).
Solid understanding of food safety, kitchen hygiene practices, and portion control.
Solid communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure during peak rush hours.
Availability to work a versatile roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Reliable transport to Wallan.

Pay: $54,696.32 – $84,466.28 per year
