About the role

We are seeking experienced Pathology Collectors to join our team and service multiple collection sites across the Canberra district.

Locations include, but not limited to:
Woden/Phillip
Kambah
Gungahlin
Belconnen
Chisolm
Lyneham

Part time and Casual positions are available for suitable candidates.

This is an excellent chance for experienced collectors who enjoy working across different locations and are looking for flexibility while being part of a supportive and growing team.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter monitoring.

Skills and experience

Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method
Collection of blood and other samples from patients
Experience in ECG's and Holter monitors
Processing of Pathology Specimens




Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres.
Clerical duties and Process paperwork
Own car and current driver licence is required
Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients
Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Basic computer skills
Comply with Work Health and Safety
