About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker with excellent communication skills to support a client in accessing the community and building greater independence. You’ll work one-on-one with the client to attend appointments, participate in recreational activities, and develop confidence in social settings.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the client to access and engage in community activities (e.g., work, appointments, social outings and sporting events)
Encourage independence, social inclusion, and skill-building
Communicate effectively and respectfully with the client, family, and stakeholders
Ensure the client’s dignity, safety, and wellbeing are prioritised
Follow individualised support plans and maintain accurate documentation
Highly engaging participant
Participant in Doncaster East - work local

About You:
Mental health experience is highly regarded
Solid communication and interpersonal skills




Ability to work independently and manage routines in the community
Empathetic, skilled, and person-centred approach to care

Requirements:
Certificate III or IV in Disability, or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR certification

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
