Material World is a Sydney-based window furnishings company — curtains, blinds and soft furnishings — supplying and installing for residential and commercial clients from our Chatswood showroom.

About the role

We're after an organised, personable Showroom Coordinator to keep our showroom and customer orders running smoothly day to day. This role is mainly about logistics and order coordination — scheduling, supplier and installer coordination, and keeping customers updated — with occasional support on the sales floor when it's busy.

Responsibilities
Coordinate orders end to end — scheduling measurements, deliveries and installations
Answer customer queries on orders by phone and email, and keep them updated as jobs progress
Handle issues as they come up and see them through to resolution
Keep the showroom presented,



stocked and organised
Assist customers on the showroom floor when needed

What you'll need
Solid organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple jobs at once
A confident, friendly manner with customers
Comfortable with everyday office and admin, CRM systems
A proactive, problem-solving attitude
Full Australian working rights

Nice to have
Experience in home furnishings, interior design, retail or logistics
An interior design background is a definite plus

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 38.0 per week
