We are looking for a friendly, energetic and experienced FOH / Barista to join our team at 28 Mason.

You will be an key part of creating a excellent customer experience — from making quality coffee and serving delicious food to keeping the café running smoothly during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality coffee using a commercial espresso machine

Take customer orders and process payments accurately

Provide friendly and professional customer service

Prepare and serve food and beverages

Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming café workplace

Clear and reset tables

Assist with opening and closing duties

Work efficiently during busy breakfast and brunch periods

Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH staff

Is confident making quality coffee

Has excellent customer service skills

Is reliable, punctual and well presented

Can work efficiently under pressure

Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people

Is a team player who is willing to help wherever needed

Has good attention to detail

Is available to work weekends

Barista experience is essential.
