Title of Job Certified Welder (WA) Reports to Manufacturing Manager Division/ Department Manufacturing Location PERTH Last Updated Sept 2024 Role Purpose & Scope Produce TDS products and support to the manufacturing team, and others as required. Occupational Health, Safety and Setting All Employees are Accountable for:
Taking ownership of their (and their fellow workers) personal health and safety
Compliance with Tricon Drilling Solutions and where applicable client occupational health, safety and workplace systems and procedures
Participation when required in audits, inspections and investigations on occupational health, safety, and workplace matters

Key Accountabilities:
Perform high-quality welding on a range of materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.

• Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to complete welding tasks. • Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.



• Conduct visual and non-destructive testing to verify weld quality and integrity. • Ensure all welding work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications. • Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment as needed. • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to workplace safety and hygiene standards.

Essential Desirable

Qualifications • Trade qualifications – Fitter/Welder
Basic Computer literacy
Intermediate computer Literacy
Relevant post trade TAFE Training

Experience • 2+ years’ experience in similar role •
