We’re seeking a Specialist in System Dynamics to help shape the future of operational performance. You’ll use energetic simulation and data‑driven insights to solve complex problems across the production value chain, building models that guide decisions and deliver measurable improvement.

About you
You’re someone who thrives on problem solving and sees data as a tool to unlock performance. You bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Experience defining and programming discrete‑event or system dynamics models (AnyLogic or similar)
Solid analytical and creative thinking skills, with the ability to balance technical detail and strategic focus
Practical exposure to heavy industries such as mining, minerals processing, or resources — or consulting experience in these sectors
A disciplined approach to project scoping and execution, ensuring outcomes are delivered with impact
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across different areas of expertise

What you’ll do
In this role, you will:




Set modelling requirements and collaborate with diverse teams to tackle challenges across the production value chain
Build, validate, and refine fit‑for‑purpose models that test scenarios and recommend implementable solutions
Use your simulation expertise to support projects and guide decision‑making with clear, actionable insights
Work closely with stakeholders to define problems, scope solutions, and deliver models that reflect real systems and processes
Create visualisations and communicate results in a way that inspires action and drives measurable improvement

Location
Brisbane, with flexible working options and some travel required.
