Join Dido Street Early Learning Centre as a Full time Early Childhood Trainee. You will be supported to complete your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while gaining hands-on experience working alongside qualified and experienced educators. For the right person, there is potential to continue your employment and studies towards a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Key responsibilities
Work alongside qualified and experienced educators in providing education and care to young children
Learn about children's development, relationships and interactions
Participate in play-based learning activities
Support daily routines, health and safety practices
Contribute to programming and day-to-day responsibilities in providing high-quality education and care
Embrace all aspects of working in an Early Childhood service
About you
Has a genuine interest in caring for and educating young children
Is reliable, punctual and dependable
Has a robust work ethic and isn't afraid of hard work
Is a quick learner and keen to develop recent skills
Takes initiative and is willing to get involved
Can listen to and learn from experienced educators
Responds positively to guidance and feedback
Is patient, caring, energetic and approachable
Works well as part of a team
A current driver's licence and access to a reliable car are desirable
