Experienced Excavator Operators

ClearHire is recruiting experienced Excavator Operators with established civil construction contractors across Adelaide.

We're looking for operators who are confident working on civil earthworks projects and can safely operate machinery around underground services, drainage, subdivisions and infrastructure works.

Whether your background comes from civil construction, earthmoving, utilities, infrastructure, landscaping, roadworks or rural earthworks, we'd like to hear from you.

The Role Depending on the project, duties may include:
Bulk excavation and civil earthworks
Trenching and drainage installation
Working around underground services
Final trim and detailed excavation
Loading trucks and material movement
Site preparation and general earthmoving
Daily pre-starts and plant inspections
Maintaining a secure and productive worksite

What We're Looking For
Applicants must have Australian working rights.
Proven experience operating excavators
Civil construction, earthworks or earthmoving experience
Excavator ticket, VOC or evidence of competency
Construction White Card
Driver's licence and reliable transport
Robust safety focus and work ethic

Highly Regarded
Final trim experience




Trenching and drainage experience
GPS machine control experience (Trimble, Topcon or Leica)
Experience with loaders, rollers, skid steers, telehandlers or other civil plant
Experience operating excavators across multiple machine sizes
