About the role

We seek self-motivated applicants, who possess positive communication skills and can work unsupervised, as well as part of a team. Undertake maintenance and repair work to the school buildings and grounds to ensure it is a secure environment for the school community.

Part time hours, working days are Monday and Wednesday.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure building systems and machines run smoothly e.g. air conditioning, pumps
Undertake repair/maintenance work as required to school buildings e.g. replacing locks, windows & light bulbs, patching holes, woodwork repairs
Perform routine maintenance of equipment
Estimate repair costs and document repairs undertaken
Handle, store, and distribute goods/materials
Move equipment/furniture as required
Upkeep school grounds e.g. mowing, pruning, weeding, planting, disposing of litter
Assist with school improvements e.g. fencing, paving, gardening projects
Complete daily grounds maintenance reports
Train new employees in groundskeeping duties
Drive school vehicles, as required.
