HR Truck Driver – Smithfield | $39/hr + Overtime | Full-Time Hours

Our client, a leading international manufacturing and distribution company, is currently seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join their growing team based in Smithfield.

Position Details
Location: Smithfield, NSW
Shift: Monday to Friday
Start Time: Between 6:00am – 7:00am
Shifts will be 8 hours a day with overtime where required,
Pay Rate: $39 per hour + overtime penalties
Work Type: Ongoing casual with temp-to-perm opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Operating Heavy Rigid (HR) flat-bed trucks
Delivering plasterboard, steel beams, and building products
Loading and unloading trucks
Securing loads using straps and load binders
Completing deliveries across Sydney Metro and Central Coast regions
Assisting with warehouse duties including pick packing when required
Maintaining compliance with fatigue management and load restraint regulations

About You

To be successful in this role,



you will have:
A current HR Truck Licence
Experience driving manual synchro gearbox trucks
Minimum 2 years’ HR driving experience
Proven experience transporting and handling long loads
Robust knowledge of:
Fatigue Management
Load Restraints
Chain of Responsibility (COR)
Current RMS Driver History Report
Good knowledge of Sydney Metro, Central Coast, and Wollongong areas
A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
The ability to lift up to 25kg
Own reliable transport
Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends
Availability to start ASAP
