Job Description

German Creek CHPP processes coal from both Capcoal (Lake Lindsay) and Aquila. We have two plants, one 850tph and one 1600tph and an over laying conveyor (OLC) that has 22km of belt. As the CHPP Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be required to use your trade background and leadership skills to lead and develop the people, processes, and systems to carry out maintenance activities within the CHPP safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Working closely with the broader CHPP team, you will be responsible for driving equipment reliability and plant availability through the delivery of planned and emergent maintenance activities. As one of the Bowen Basin's largest and most unique CHPP’s, this is a challenging yet highly rewarding role,



offering exposure to a complex and large scale steelmaking coal operation and providing an prospect to broaden your technical knowledge, leadership capability and overall understanding of CHPP operations.

Reporting to the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the reliability and availability of equipment through scheduled maintenance work
Executing plans to ensure work is prioritised to maintain operational capabilities
Working independently with limited direction
Engaging and influencing peers/external providers
Delivering high quality work with tight timeframes, through self-motivation and drive
