Enjoy a role with variety and the prospect to utilise your skills across both Payroll and Accounts Payable, working within a streamlined, automated payroll setting - no time-consuming manual timesheet entry!

Our client is a successful and growing Brisbane business that is expanding its finance team. Due to increased workload, they are seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer who can hit the ground running and become an integral part of their close-knit team.

Your responsibilities will include:
End-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities (150 staff fortnightly pay)
Interpreting and applying multiple Contemporary Awards
Reviewing payroll data and imported timesheets prior to processing
Processing payroll accurately and on time
Managing a high volume of Accounts Payable invoices
Preparing supplier payments and ABA files
Working across multiple Xero entities
Assisting with general finance administration as required




Working closely with the wider finance team to ensure everything runs smoothly

To be successful in this role you'll bring:
Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience
Experience interpreting Awards (essential)
Experienced in Xero
Experience using workforce management/payroll systems such as Tanda, Deputy, Employment Hero, WageLoch or similar would be highly beneficial
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
