The Opportunity
Position: Registered Nurse – Grade 5
Location: Dysart, QLD
Contracts Available :
07.09.2026 – 04.10.2026
28.09.2026 – 17.01.2027
06.10.2026 – 17.01.2027
Hours: Maximum 80 hours per fortnight
Shifts: Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts, as per roster
Travel & accommodation: Assistance available

Working in a rural hospital offers a diverse caseload, increased autonomy, and the chance to develop valuable emergency and leadership skills.

About the Role

Working on a rotating roster of 8 and 12-hour shifts, you will provide secure, high quality patient care across acute and emergency settings.



At times you may be required to lead the ward and work as the sole Registered Nurse on shift.

Essential Experienc
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Recent Rural & Remote nursing experience
Emergency Department experience
Triage and Resuscitation experience
Ability to confidently lead shifts and manage the ward independently
Current ALS and BLS certification
ETEK competency

Highly Regarded
ieMR experience
FirstNet
PowerChart
HBCIS
Previous Queensland Health experience
