Job Description
Produce regular financial reporting packs that provide visibility over business performance and profitability.
Take ownership of key components of the month-end process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Evaluate financial results against expectations, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities to management.
Provide oversight of major operating expenditures, tracking cost movements and identifying areas for improved efficiencies.
Create meaningful performance dashboards and metrics that assist leaders in making informed commercial decisions.
Consolidate and interpret information from various business systems to ensure accurate reporting within the finance workplace.
Work closely with operational teams and department heads to strengthen financial understanding across the business.
Review existing reporting and finance processes,



recommending improvements to streamline workflows and enhance data quality.
Contribute to planning cycles through financial modelling, budget preparation and forecast updates.
Deliver detailed analysis and commercial insights to support strategic projects, business initiatives and executive decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:
A relevant qualification in accounting or finance.
Ability to start immediately or within short notice.
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
Robust technical accounting and management reporting capabilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel skills.
Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing or mining services industries will be highly regarded.
