Our client is one of Melbourne's leading Meat Processing Facilities, and they are on the hunt to find their next Second-in-Command to their growing team in the boxed beef Dispatch area of their Knoxfield warehouse. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have experience working in cold-storage and freezer environments, working with packaged meat products and are looking for a temp-perm prospect!

About the role:

Transport Scheduling
n
High Reach Forklift Operation
n
Preparing customer's orders for dispatch
n
Stock rotation as well as inventory and stock management
n
Communication with production, warehouse, QC and other departments
n
Record keeping
n
Picking and Packing
n

n

Requirements:

n

In order to establish your career within this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

n

n
Minimum 12 months of experience operating an LF High Reach Forklift
n
Hold a valid LF Licence
n
Have availability for 5 shifts a week, Monday-Friday
n




Experience working in a cool room/ freezer environment (-22 degrees) is highly desirable
n
MUST be comfortable and able to work with packaged meat products
n
Strong time management skills
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
n
Confident working with SAP and MS Suite
n
A solid safety focus
n
Hold a current Driver's Licence and have reliable transport
n
