About the role:

n

n
Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will:
n
Provide Survey Support to the project.
n
Assist the Technical Services Department to meet operational needs.
n
Conduct daily volume calculations.
n
Complete in office RPAS drone surveys/scans/photos/incident reporting.
n
Create 3D models of mining sites using design software and digital imaging.
n
Chart surface areas using GPS/ Drones/ Total Stations.
n

To be successful you will have:

n

n
Tertiary qualifications in surveying or equivalent
n
Open cut mining and/or civil construction experience preferred but not necessary.
n




RPAS up to 25kgs.
n
Strong Technical and Analytical skills
n
Solid organisational, communication and planning skills.
n
Demonstrated positive safety leadership skills and safety behaviour.
n
Experience using survey software including Maptek Vulcan, Point Studio, Deswik or similar preferred
n
Current drivers licence.
n

This position requires the preferred candidate to undertake a QLD Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment, a Pre-Employment Medical, and successfully complete Standard 11 training.
