We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our Cairns operation. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong technical background in either Auto Electrical or Transport Refrigeration who can effectively manage people, workflow and customer relationships.

About The Role

As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for:

n

Managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop
n
Leading, mentoring and supporting technicians and apprentices
n
Planning and scheduling workshop jobs to maximise productivity
n
Ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
n
Providing technical support and guidance to the team
n
Managing parts procurement and supplier relationships
n
Monitoring workshop performance, efficiency and profitability
n
Maintaining a safe and compliant workplace
n




Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

Trade Qualifications And Experience In Either

n

n
Auto Electrical, or
n
Transport Refrigeration
n
Previous experience leading a team or supervising technicians
n
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
n
A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
n
Sound computer and administration skills
n
Current driver's licence
n
